You must have heard about Google Adsense, if haven’t use it before. Well, its the simplest way of earning from your websites. All you need is a website (newly launched would work as well, but it has to be fully functional and developed) or a free blog at blogger.com. You can sign up for Google Adsense via a simple online form and if adsense team found your website according to their requirements, they would send you acceptance email. This would take 2 to 5 days.

Lets get optimistic and hope for being accepted in Google Adsense. Than what? Nothing, just grap the code, paste it over your site and start earning. In other words, just follow these steps to get started with adsense.

1. Simply login to Adsense account.
2. Go to 2nd tab “Adsense Setup”. It would take you to adsense setup wizard.
3. Click on “Adsense for content”
4. Select Ad unit or Link unit. Click on Continue
5. Select the format, colors, fonts, sytle for your ad and click on Continue button
6. You can skip the channels, for the time being.
7. In last step click on “Submit and get Code” button. You will be provided with some html code. Copy and paste this code to web pages you want to display ads. That’s it. You are done.

Now, whenever someone will click on this ad, you will earn a %age of ad price Google is charging from advertisers. You can earn from 0.02$ to 10.00$ for one click. It would depend on the price the advertiser has chosen to pay for the particular ad. This means that more click you get, more you will earn. Sound easy na!

So why not just keep clicking or ask your friends and relatives to visit your site and click on those ads for you? Well, you can do so and there will be money in your balance too, but, there is a twist here. Google don’t allow such clicks and will come to know itself. In the result you would get blocked, perhaps for forever. If you still want to try and think yourself smarter than complex algorithms coded using artificial intelligence, I won’t stop you.

Adsense is easy, free and useful source of earning from your website. You can have these ads setup in few minutes and can earn a reasonable amount if you use these ads properly and focus on the quality of your website and traffic stream.
